To install a gas cylinder or appliance on a commercial property, you need to get approval from the local fire department. If the application and plans are not signed off by the fire department, your commercial gas installation will be deemed illegal and will have to be removed. Illegal gas installations also mean your business license will not be granted, and this is not something you would want for your business.
