GAS INSTALLATIONS
MAITLAND
We’re here to help
Maitland’s older residential streets close to the CBD have increasingly picked up creative and light-industrial uses alongside traditional housing, and Core Gas Installations sees the full range of that mix — a straightforward home installation one day, a converted studio or small commercial space the next.
OUR SERVICES
Gas Installations
We install any type of gas appliance, from stoves and hobs to fireplaces and geysers, and cover all types of installations.
After a new installation, maintenance or repair, we will issue a compliance certificate in accordance with SANS 10087-1:2013.
We conduct inspections on all installations and repairs, covering components such as regulators and isolation and safety shut-off valves.
We can supply and install any size gas cylinder cage to your existing installation to meet all SANS requirements.
We offer maintenance to existing gas installations, ensuring that piping and fittings are always in the best condition.
Using state-of-the-art sniffer devices, we can detect the smallest of leaks on your gas installation, putting your mind at ease.
Gas Installation Services in Maitland
We install and service gas stoves, hobs, ovens and fireplaces for Maitland homes, supply and fit gas geysers, and handle commercial gas work for the light-industrial and creative businesses now operating out of the suburb’s older buildings. Given how much of Maitland’s housing stock predates gas as standard, we regularly bring an existing supply setup — cylinder cage, regulators, isolation valves — up to current SANS clearance standards as part of a new installation.
Every job is certified under SANS 10087-1:2013, documentation Maitland property owners need for insurance and, increasingly, for resale in an area that’s seen a lot of turnover in recent years. We also carry out standalone inspections for buyers wanting an independent check before relying on a previous owner’s setup.
Our leak detection service, using electronic sniffer equipment, and general maintenance are available throughout Maitland. Core Gas Installations can quote and complete residential and commercial gas work in the area.
For converted commercial and studio spaces in Maitland, we check the broader gas supply setup meets current standards before signing off any new work, since older buildings repurposed for new uses sometimes have infrastructure that predates formal certification. Every quote is itemised clearly before work begins. Core Gas Installations offers a 24-hour emergency line, and through the Core Services Group we can bring in Core Electrical or Core Leak Detection where needed. Our quotes for Maitland jobs set out exactly what’s being corrected versus newly installed, which matters in a suburb where gas infrastructure sometimes predates the current owner by decades.
